Huh? When Did That Happen?

Unfortunately, many in the beauty industry are sadly uninformed about what really happens in our State government. The laws and regulations that affect our pocketbooks and the manner in which we work and operate our businesses are written, talked about and shuffled around in Sacramento with most of us being totally unaware. We find out about things most often when it is too late and it has already become law or regulation. Too late! Too bad!

Assemblyman Correa said it best a few years back. He said to the assembled group of beauty professionals, "If we don't do it for you . . . we will end up doing it to you!" pointing up the importance of having a cohesive industry voice in Sacramento.

Oh My! Have you Heard. . . ?

Gossip, rumor and second hand news is nothing but trouble. Information passing from one teller to the next means each teller puts their own 'slant' (read misinformation) into it. Like the game of 'telephone', by the time you get that information, it looks very little like reality. Lots of opinions' added and important details omitted. Guaranteed . . . not accurate.
